The school provides training for students, postdoctoral and senior scientists from European and non-European universities and laboratories, in the field of\u00a0<strong>Neutrons, X-ray Synchrotron Radiation, and Free Electron Laser\u00a0<\/strong>for condensed matter studies (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Geosciences, Industrial applications). Neutron and X-ray science is integrated with\u00a0<strong>complementary techniques<\/strong>\u00a0like (but not only) optical and electron microscopy, NMR, optical spectroscopy.<\/p>\n<p>It includes\u00a0lectures,\u00a0<strong>practicals<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>tutorials<\/strong>, and\u00a0visits\u00a0of Large Facilities:\u00a0<strong>ALBA<\/strong>\u00a0in Barcelona,\u00a0<strong>KIT<\/strong>\u00a0in Karlsruhe,\u00a0<strong>Petra III<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>European XFEL<\/strong>\u00a0in Hamburg,\u00a0<strong>Elettra<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>FERMI<\/strong>\u00a0in Trieste,\u00a0<strong>ESRF<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>ILL<\/strong>\u00a0in Grenoble,\u00a0<strong>SOLEIL\u00a0<\/strong>in Paris-Saclay, and<strong>\u00a0PSI<\/strong>\u00a0in Villigen.<br \/>\nThe language of the course is\u00a0<strong>English<\/strong>.<br \/>\nSee the <a href=\"https:\/\/hercules-school.eu\/node\/32\">general programme<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"emoji emoji-large\">\u2b50\ufe0f<\/span> Join the <a href=\"https:\/\/hercules-school.eu\/\">2025 HERCULES European School<\/a>!
